They produce unique and innovative next generation liquid handling technology for laboratory automation in Italy. This technology was developed to establish an efficient, flexible alternative contactless solution for tasks involving the handling of liquids for nano- to microliter volumes.
This technology has many application advantages compared to conventional pipette-based systems. The company is already active in this area and gives customers new opportunities in application areas such as NGS sample preparation, high throughput screening, single cell dispensing, etc. In addition with another range of products they addressing markets in the single cell, cell line development and Bioprocess and with state of the art cell picking , sorting and cell manipulation technology. More than 15 of the 25 largest pharmaceutical companies as well as numerous biotech companies and academic institutes use the products to create cell lines for the production of biologics and also for single-cell research.
We are currently looking for a Business Development Sales Executive for the Italy area.
It is expected to maintain and develop new relationships within biotech, pharmaceutical and academic institutions. New business opportunities are to be identified through targeted prospecting and new business deals are to be nurtured and concluded. Prospective customers should be given compelling live and remote demonstrations and presentations. The organization of customer workshops and the representation of the company at scientific conferences is desired. Working with the marketing team is expected to drive initiatives, improve campaigns and create material. An existing network is to be built up in the biotech, pharmaceutical and academic institutions.
The minimum qualification should be a Bachelor of Science. Likewise experience in advisory sales and account management in a related area. Knowledge of the liquid handling market and/or Bioprocess practical experience are an advantage. Excellent presentation and communication skills should be available. There should be an affinity for new cutting-edge technology and laboratory equipment as well as a “hands-on” mentality. A confident negotiator with the ability to close the deal is expected.
