The bioprocess industry has recently realized how important these measurements and on-line measurements are for the control and efficiency of the processes compared to conventional measurements.
The Account Manager will be responsible for selling a product line within the defined territory. This includes all products in the line – control reagents, consumables and service contracts. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that sales targets are within or exceed acceptable profit targets. The person will also work directly with existing and new customers to identify their needs. It is expected to build a strong partnership with the product management and marketing divisions. Furthermore, participation in local, regional and national seminars and trade fairs is expected, as well as the realization of demonstrations, coordination and installation of customer training courses.
Relationships with the procurement departments should be established in order to optimize the approval processes.
