To strengthen the team in Germany, we are looking for a dedicated
Field Application Specialist (m/f/d)
covering Baden-Württemberg, southern Hesse, and Rhineland-Palatinate.
Your Responsibilities
In this position, you will serve as a scientific expert and trusted partner to customers in academia and industry. Your role will be to support new and existing users in implementing, optimizing, and developing assays on advanced immunoassay systems.
Key tasks include:
- Training and supporting customers on instrumentation, assays, and data analysis
- Providing scientific troubleshooting and technical assistance
- Guiding customers in developing custom assays in various research areas (e.g. inflammation, oncology, neuroscience, metabolic disorders, immunogenicity, PK, toxicology)
- Conducting scientific presentations and on-site evaluations
- Collaborating closely with sales and marketing to identify and grow opportunities
- Representing the company at scientific conferences and trade shows
- Documenting activities and interactions in CRM (Salesforce)
Your Profile
- M.Sc. or PhD in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of practical laboratory experience in research, diagnostics, or biochemistry
- Experience in assay development, immunoassays, or scientific applications support
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
- Fluent in German (native) and English
- Willingness to travel 30–50% across the region
