We are partnering with an innovative and internationally expanding life sciences technology company seeking an Account Manager to support continued growth across the DACH region.
This is an exciting commercial opportunity within a highly dynamic area of molecular biology and genomics, focused on supporting research, translational and clinical customers with advanced life science technologies.
The Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing and developing customer relationships across Baden-Württemberg and Switzerland, working closely with research institutes, academic laboratories, biotech organisations and healthcare environments.
Responsibilities will include: • Developing and expanding strategic customer relationships • Identifying and driving new business opportunities • Supporting customers through consultative scientific sales approaches • Delivering technical and commercial presentations • Managing territory planning and account development activities • Representing the company at conferences, workshops and industry events • Collaborating closely with internal scientific and commercial teams
Candidate Profile
We are particularly interested in individuals who combine strong scientific understanding with commercial aptitude and customer-facing experience.
Relevant backgrounds may include: • Genomics • Molecular biology • NGS workflows • PCR / molecular diagnostics • Translational or clinical laboratory environments • Scientific instrumentation or life science consumables sales
Ideal candidates will possess: • A degree (or higher qualification) in Life Sciences or a related discipline • Scientific sales, account management or business development experience • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset • Fluency in German and English • Willingness to travel across the assigned territory
