The company is expanding its European sales team to keep in pace with the increasing demand for our products and our excellent customer service. The ideal candidate for this role will be an individual who is passionate about science/technology and people, motivated to make an impact, and eager to make a career by truly growing personally and professionally. They will have experience as a sales representative for laboratory equipment/reagents/consumables. This position is based in the UK or Ireland, and you would work from home office
Be the face and spirit of the company for the Live Cell Analysis portfolio in UK/Ireland.
Build the brand through customer communication, organize workshops, and do live
demonstrations for potential and new users.
Identify opportunities with existing and new customers to upsell our latest technologies and
cross-sell across our innovative, cutting-edge product portfolio.
Specify targeted accounts, identify business opportunities, close new business deals.
Develop and foster new relationships with local and international businesses and institutions.
You will establish synergistic, win-win relationships with our customers and work collaboratively
in partnership to help achieve their vision with our products
Work with the marketing team to drive initiatives, enhance campaigns and build material.
Generate new leads and arrange client meetings in the UK /Ireland region.
Work with our inside sales team to create campaigns targeting lead generating functions.
Bachelor of Science, minimum qualification.
Sales experience for laboratory equipment
Application experience in Microscopy or Life Cell Imaging is a plus.
Existing network in the Life Science industry and research sectors, especially with Live Cell
Imaging, is a plus.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Creative, out-of-the-box thinker.
Autonomous, initiative-taking, responsible, involved and results-oriented personality.
Confident negotiator with the ability to close the deal.
Affinity for new technologies, laboratory equipment.
Good technical capacity (“hands-on” mentality).
Affinity for business travel.
